Summary of Research
We are researching in the Biosphere 2 which biome is the best environment to grow wildflower seeds and lima bean seeds. The biomes selected to conduct the experiment include: Rainforest, Upper Savannah, Ocean, Mangroves, and Desert. Wildflowers seeds and lima bean seeds will be potted in soil from each of the selected biomes. Potted seeds will be kept in their perspective biomes for seven days. Water is a controlled variable that will be applied daily. Research will take into account ph, light, moisture, evaporation, and temperature.
Key Ingredients For Successful Reading:
Find something interesting to read.
Change your tone of voice, use low and high pitch, use squeaking sounds, whistles and other mouth noises.
Involve your child in the reading.
Discuss with your child the people in the story and what happened.
Play with the ending, e.g. What happened to …? What if…?
Most important -- laugh and have fun with your child.
