Morristown School has a free program that promotes all this and encourages families to participate in a six week program (2 hours per week). The program provides child care and refreshments. Groups parents may become involved with at Morristown School/District are currently four. Three are appointed by the Governing Board as an advisory arm, The Site Council,the Textbook Advisory Committee, and the Book Selection Committee.

The Site Council, Book Selection Committee and Textbook Advisory Committee are also open to community members who are not necessarily parents and staff.

The Parent Teacher Student Association is another group parents can become involved with. It is not directly affiliated with the school but is recognized in district policy as having a relationship with the school. Morristown's PTSA is affiliated with National PTA.See our PTSA news page.
